Guide a hero's adventure from afar! See that he is mighty, as he certainly knows nothing of the danger ahead.

Your hero's quest is to investigate the Fiendtower, but he starts very weak. Send them on distracting new quests so that he can grow ever stronger! 

Play

At the start of the game,  draw 5 cards

After you play a card or skip, our hero moves 1 square towards its next quest goal

The tile cards of Fiendtile
Each tile card changes a tile to the corresponding type, and gives that tile XP towards upgrades (upgrades carry over when tile types change)
 City tiles heal you for HP and heal more if you upgrade them!
   Encounter tiles cost HP but give XP. They give more XP but cost more HP as you upgrade them.
 Dungeons  have a strong encounter and  give a Quest card if you do not already have one. They give more XP but cost more HP as you upgrade them.

The special cards of Fiendtile
- Quest cards place a quest tile which the hero is hopelessly drawn to! The hero will eventually visit every quest tile, but resolves the most recent ones first! Their final quest is the Fiendtower, so keep them distracted!

Other

- The Fiendtower. No one yet knows how to overcome the Fiendtower, but the strongest are honoured
